Blogging experience.

Hello classmates  today we have to talk about this site, well this is the first time that i make a blog's page and i can say that be a little uncomfortable at the beginning but with time i be accustomed to do it, specially because it is in english and i didn´t knew how to write or found the different options. I think that is  useful because we can know how to use this type of platforms in other language that is not spanish, little by little  we can get accustome and use it daily for another situations. I think that this help us to understand more about the language, but in first place the oral interaction always is better, like in the classroom with all of you. This is the disadvantage, because we can´t talk and listen with other people and doesn't exist the "fluency" of the interaction of course, although it works to search unknown words to our vocabulary. One of the difficulties is always choose the "favourite" about something but i suppose that to the rest or to the majority it was easier to write. I don't know how to eliminate this account so, if one of you know it, tell me. I liked the wallpapers this is the only thing that i make use.

favourite subject

Hello class in this blog I chose to talk about of my painting's class because is my major in this career. I begin in this subject the last year we learned to make still-life paintings, first with different grey's tones and after that    including colours. Also we took series of photographs and we painted  each one of them. This year we started with human models and it is different and more difficult than the models that not are in movement, because the illumination changes when the model is moving. Now we are working with photos too, there are a lot and there are about bodies too. Is this way we learned and worked with different objects and soon we will begin to paint in a mural paper to give other sense to the work on class meanwhile we obtain new knowledge. I like the class because the way that the teachers explain us and the exercises are very educational and they are thinking always in new works to us.The bad side is the materials are expensive, but in the others areas is the same thing.

Beauty

The video shows us different kinds of beauty such as landscapes, daily events, achievements, memories etc. Also question if the idea of beauty it’s instil culturally from generation to generation or if   it has a genetic influence as human being, on that note it’s that the theory of beauty is about. I was hard to me watch the video the idiom, and because the guy make too many sounds when he speaks, I was a little bit exasperate whit this.  But this erudite helps to us understand the complete idea. In my opinion it’s a little of to parts the fact of as human beings we have certain to considering and classify the beauty and like almost in all facets of our existence, we are conditioned for the cultural conception that we are gaining while we grow up.  By contrast I think that it’s a habit thing too, for instance that we have the disposition of something like us but at the beginning still don’t like us, but we do it again an again, and after a short while that thing become to us in a pleasant or beauty thing, like we listen some kind of music or we decided to eat some food that don’t like. In other ways the things must not to be beauties for to be useful, in fact the society assumes to the art must to be Beauty but it’s not be that way.

Favourite artist

Hello classmates as I said in other post I don’t have someone favourite because I like generally a lot of them. In this opportunity I’m going to talk about a Visual Artist that obviously like me a lot. Maurits Cornelis Escher. He was born in 1898 in Leewarden. He belongs to a comfortable family, and his father whished give him an education mainly scientific, because he expect that becomes to an architect. Meanwhile Escher was studying at the Haarlem architecture school he discovered with his teachers, that his real talent and vocation was the art. He studies all the printmaking techniques specially the Lithography. I think that the main reason of I like his work, its besides the perfect finished of his works, because he created the impression of his own inter world, and this impress into a drawing, doesn’t matter if the “real world”, if this can be called as “Fine art”, or if the picture can be Possible. His works not used to be spontaneous, all the way around it needed of large time periods, and sketches. He wanted to make public all this things that occurs in his mind, for this he used visual games with the exes, and made visible in his pictures the spaces considered as empties.

 Hello classmates after of watched some of my photos I choosed this picture that I took the last year in Plaza de Armas it was while I was waiting for a concert  that organised by Universidad de Chile for the 170 th anniversary in wich played symphonic orchestra with all the choral groups of the unviversity. The photograph is the top of the Santiago's Cathedral, I think the light of the historical's buildings is nice and in the moment when i took the picture the was on the crescent phase and near to the Cathedral's top. I thought that maybe could be a great frame to the picture because its a big contrast with the sky too. That night  a lot of people came to the concert. I came early and i found a sit and the night it was so cold. The photo was took with a diaphragm's aperture 4,5 with a 1/25 of exposure's time and a big lens, the camera is mine i bought it in february of 2012 and i am discovering how to use it yet xd. I have others of this building and the Correo de Chile but this i like more than the rest it's more decent. Here I attach the picture, i hope it doesn't so ugly or dissapointed :c bye

post 5 blog correction

Hello classmates, today will talk of( im going to talk about) my favorite art exhibition. I will not speak about music because i dont feel a proximity with it. The exhibition about (i will )talk is the "Salón de estudiantes" ,at the museum MAC of quinta normal park.

This museum,(is)a very spacious place with much illumination in each hall.

This exhibition was the past march 22 , and is(it is) one my favorites, because it has as objetive(objective) to make public young emerging artist, also this day a friend

, Victoria Bravo. Mi friend presented an installation with figures of cloth, many figures! crocheted by hand. 

 

At the exhibition there werw works of many techniques!...for example: painting, sculpture, installation, engraving and videoart. Each artist has it's (a)typical style, spectrum of colors and own format.

I don't remember having(had) seen the museum so full before, i think people liked seeing (watching)so many new proposals, i don't know what else to say so i finish adding some images from that day, good bye!

post 4 my favourite film

 Hello classmates this is a topic a little difficult to me because I don`t have a favourite film or color o program or food but  i remember a movie that like me a lot. The Methodology's teacher showed us during a class a Christopher Nolan's film called Following. The movie liked me because the plot its not sequentially and the story revolve around three characters, two of them are criminals and the other is innocent but the thieves do a complot against the innocent guy to blame him for a death. i don't want to describe so much about the story because i would  like that you watch it. This movie was the first creation of Nolan, he did it meanwhile he studying at the university was the first experience as film maker and some of his classmates appear in the scenes. Nolan was the director and  scriptwriter, also he worked in the edition process and the produccion.The movie was filmed in 1989  and it has a duration of seventy minutes and they used the black and white effect to give it more atmosphere. Film that has a  production's cost of six thousand dollars. The main actors are Jeremy Theobald, Lucy Russell and Dick Bradsell. It was filmed at the United Kingdom in London. the story non linear its the same that he used in others subsequents works such as Memento, Batman Begins and the Prestige. I hope to read differents suggestions of yours favourite movies and  i hope that you enjoy watching this debut work of the famous director.  See you in class bye.

3. expert in my field

 Hi, I'm going to write a little about Nemesio Antúnez. He was an important painter and engraver. He was the older of three brothers, Enrique Zañartu and Jaime Antúnez they were visual artists too. He studied architecture at Universidad Católica. One of the most important things that he done was to found the "Taller 99" in 1956 to develop the differents engraving's techniques and to promote this discipline for the young people. He expressed a mix between reality and surrealism of that period. Also he maked a tv program called "Ojo con el arte" and on the radio "Universidad de Chile". The principal reason that I like his work is because on his established workshop in Taller 99 he had an equality relation with his students considering that was the purpose to put on practice, and this we can see it in the works. Here I attach some of my favourite paintings of his work.

A concert

Hi!, i have decided to post about a concert because, i don´t have a favourite band or singer. Choose one it's so difficult to me. Well, the Pedro Aznar's concert was in november of the last year in Teatro Caupolican and the last that i've assited . He is a argentinian singer and he plays so many instruments as the bass, the guitar, the piano, percussion, an latin-american instrument called "cuatro", that is like a guitar but smaller and with doubles strings, wind's instruments, etc... I was on the front so my sight was amazing. His music is rich on sounds and voices, some of them are relaxing and others faster with many solos from differents instruments, and he usea the"scat" tecnique too. The concert was really pretty with a lot energy and poetics songs. Even he was played Gustavo Cerati's songs and Spinetta as  homage. That's a little of that night.I leave you a song

My name is Bárbara, I'm 21 years old. I live in Santiago with my family but, I was born in Talagante. My mother is Margarita and my father is Carlos, she is hairstylist and my dad is a cars' mechanic. I have a brother, he is 19 years old and he brought a black kitten to the house three weeks ago,  I have two cats now. My hobby is the music and I play the piano a little. I like short films more than movies. Currently I have read Haruki Murakami's books, I like the style of them it is a kind of magic realism .
